Visiting Kooma.co.uk feels like reading an online magazine, and indeed there is a rotating news section at the top. The page is dark, with high contrast white text that makes it remain easy to read, but it is not spooky or negative. Articles by spiritual journalists and a video introduction message fleshes out the web activities on Kooma. With the philosophy of helping people discover their true spiritual path, Kooma is clearly made for explorers!

Kooma.co.uk hand picks each of the readers on the site according to their talents and professionalism. They have two main categories, tarot and psychic readings, and four psychics are featured on the front page. A quick search feature sorts the psychics by their skills in angel readings, healing, love advice, spiritual coaching and mediumship. You can read member comments about each reader on his or her profile to judge before you buy. There are five readers available.

What sets Kooma.co.uk apart from the other sites is that they offer “click and call” voice chat. This does require that you have a headset for your PC in order to communicate with your psychic live. If you do not have a fast Internet connection, it would be very difficult to enjoy. However, starting at only 60p per minute when you purchase a block of an hour, the voice chat readings are an incredible deal!

Kooma.co.uk has the unique offer of free SMS horoscopes by Patrick Arundell.. Patrick has bee an astrologer for thirteen years, and his horoscopes are regularly contributed to many publications. You may also read horoscopes and star charts online if you do not use text messaging. I signed up for MyKooma and found it very easy to navigate and switch options for the newsletter and SMS messages off and on. Though a social network is in the works at Kooma, those features were not available when I checked.

Kooma.co.uk boasts that “We offer only the best Readers and Content at prices that are some of the most reasonable (if not THE most reasonable) available in the UK.” With email readings at only £16 and telephone readings for only 75p per minute, their rates are certainly below the average in the UK.

A downside of Kooma.co.uk is that the site is new, as of 2006, and many features are still in the works. Instant messenger readings were supposed to be available in 2008 and are not. Within the psychic industry, many sites come and go very quickly, leaving clients missing the readers with which they have only recently kindled a business relationship.
