Introductory Guide to Pet Psychic Readings

Pet psychics are people who use the power of telepathy to communicate with animals. They try to determine what an animal is thinking by drawing on its electromagnetic energy. Like matter, electromagnetic energy is a part of everything. And, when pet psychics draw on this energy, they can ‘see’ a part of the animal’s soul. It doesn’t matter if the animal is a domestic pet or a wild creature out in the wilderness. It doesn’t even matter if the animal is in the same room with the pet psychic, as electromagnetic energy can be drawn on in any location… including, (in some cases), the Afterlife realm.

Pet psychics have been around ever since mankind’s existence. Of course, in previous cultures, they were not called “pet psychics.” Instead, they were seen as shamans or people with superior spiritual gifts in general. They may have also been known as “animal communicators.” In the West, St. Francis is one of the most famous examples. His ability to communicate with wolves made people realise the importance of having compassion for animals. In fact, his psychic abilities were so powerful, he was able to befriend a completely wild wolf. This wolf lived the rest of his life in the village, without ever attacking St. Francis or anyone else. He had become just as loving as any dog, simply because someone reached out to him.

Despite St. Francis’s powerful abilities, he was never considered an official pet psychic. Ultimately, pet psychics as we know them didn’t come about until several centuries later, during World War One. The reason why is because organisations like the Association for Research and Enlightenment was starting to conduct studies on paranormal activities, with psychic powers being the most prominent. As the information began to spread, pet psychics began to discover that these same powers could also be used for determining the thoughts of animals. Hence, a whole new movement was born.

From 1931 onward, even though there were several pet psychics in existence, those who were part of the mainstream often dismissed their claims. Sceptics would point out that science has made no findings on electromagnetic energy, nor has it confirmed that animals even have emotions that humans can interpret. So, to them, pet psychics just couldn’t be genuine… no matter what miracles they achieved in their offices.

Opinions started to change a little bit with the show “The Pet Psychic.” Heading the show was Sonya Fitzpatrick, an experienced pet psychic who has communicated with hundreds of animals on and off the show. Her clairvoyance, (which she had since she was a child), gave pet owners a lot of peace, as she helped curb behaviour problems or gave some insight on what happened to deceased pets.

So, if a person does want to use a pet psychic, can they rely on that show when it comes to what they can expect? Well, while every pet psychic will have their own unique style, the process of telepathic communication is generally the same. They start off by relaxing their minds, freeing them from any negative thoughts about the animal. Next, the pet psychic uses visualisation to establish a mental connection with the animal. They may also call out the animal’s name, either in their minds or out loud.

Next, they initiate communication by sending off a variety of visualisations. They may create these visualisations based on animal psychology. For example, if they sense an animal is scared, they may send off a visual of a bone or something else that makes a dog ‘happy.’

The responses the pet psychic receives in this process vary. Some animals will respond back with visualisations, since they don’t have a proper command of human language. Other animals, (perhaps older ones who have been around humans a long time), respond back with a combination of visualisations and words. A few animals even use human-like voices. Why there is these differences no one knows, but it could point to how spiritually evolved an animal has become, (as the spirit can surpass physical limitations).

After pet psychics have received the animal’s responses, they relay them back to the owner. They then discuss how the owner can use this information to take further action, whether it’s improving the pet’s behaviour, becoming at peace with a pet’s death or even locating a missing pet.

If a pet is sick, good pet psychics will recommend medical treatment from a trained veterinarian. However, they won’t completely abandon the powers of the spiritual world either. That’s why most pet psychics will conduct a telepathic body scan of the animal. During this scan, they will give the animal healing energy. So, ultimately, the powers of the spirit will help the animal in fighting their illness.

Also, it should be noted that your pet does not have to be in the office for a pet psychic to do their job. If the pet cannot be physically present, pet psychics usually use a photograph to initiate communication. Proponents of pet psychics believe these sessions are just as powerful as those where the pet psychic is working with the animal directly.

Either way, when a session is finished, there can be remarkable results, depending on what the pet owner needed. Most people go to pet psychics to resolve behaviour problems, though there are some that want to know what happened to their best friend after they died. Learning that their pet is living well in paradise puts them at peace even for themselves, since death carries so many mysteries and unknowns.

Then there is the third category of clientele pet psychics deal with. These are people whose pets have become lost. Pet psychics try to use telepathy to locate the animal and hopefully bring them back home. Even sceptics can’t explain away a pet psychic’s success in these instances, (besides using the same argument of ‘coincidence’).

Yet, even supporters of pet psychics need to listen to some of the concerns of the sceptics. True, they shouldn’t let scepticism keep them from visiting pet psychics completely, but they do need to listen to what they have to say. And one of the concerns that comes up is whether or not a pet psychic is a trained professional or simply a cold reader.

What is a cold reader? A cold reader uses psychology and a mixture of ‘educated guesses’ to determine what they think an animal or their owner is feeling. If they happen to make a wrong guess, they try to blow it off by asking the pet owner more questions. Visualisations, telepathy and anything else indicating paranormal ability are not used, (even if the cold reader genuinely believes in these concepts).

So, how can a pet owner know if a pet psychic is using cold reading? It can be really difficult to tell, because most cold readers know how to make their sessions convincing. But in general, the biggest warning sign is giving vague, ‘common-sense’ details. Combine this with asking a lot of questions, and chances are the pet psychic is using cold reading techniques during their session.

Of course, there is the possibility that you could receive more general details even from genuine pet psychics. That’s why you will want to rely more on a pet psychic’s referrals than their actual session. Ask previous clients what they think about a particular pet psychic. If the sessions resulted in some type of action, whether it’s a behaviour change or an actual finding of a missing pet, you can pretty much bet that the pet psychic is making use of some type of paranormal ability.

Yet, what about pet owners who are looking for information about dead pets? Since the pet is deceased, wouldn’t it be easier for fraudulent pet psychics to just make up anything using cold reading techniques? Well, naturally, it is harder trying to ‘prove’ whether communication with the dead is genuine… this is the case even if a psychic is trying to talk to deceased humans. But sometimes pet owners may receive supernatural visions when working with a legitimate pet psychic. For example, they may have several dreams in which they see the animal in the heavenly realm. Or, they may see the animal’s spirit on video or maybe even in real life. If they have a cassette recorder, they may be able to record unusual sounds, such as barking, meowing or a childlike human voice, (as this is often the way animals sound when they’re trying to use voices to communicate in the spirit world).

Granted, you may never encounter any of these things even with legitimate pet psychics. This doesn’t necessarily mean the pet psychic wasn’t doing their job. Remember, when it comes to death, there’s a lot of uncertainty. This is especially the case for Western culture which often dismisses claims of astral projection or life-after-death. If people aren’t restricted by the Christian belief that only humans believing in Christ will exist as an angel on a cloud, they are restricted by the ‘scientific’ belief that humans and everything else have NO life once they die.

Neither of these beliefs are healthy if you’re trying to communicate with spirits in the Afterlife. And the main reason why is because the spirit world works off of mental energy. In some ways even life on Earth works this way, (hence The Secret and other philosophies), but the world’s physical reality makes using these mental energies more challenging. In the spirit world there are no physical barriers. What you imagine is what happens.

Consequently, if you subconsciously believe that animals can’t have an Afterlife because they don’t have souls, you will have trouble receiving more direct communication from your deceased pet. And, if anything does happen, you would probably dismiss it as being a coincidence or a non-supernatural phenomenon.

Consider my own personal experience with a pet psychic. My dog had become gravely ill, and the vet said it would be more humane to put him down. So, that’s what we decided to do, even though it was an agonising decision. But if we didn’t do anything, he be in extreme pain during the little bit of time he did have.

After they anaesthetised him, they gave us his ashes, and we had a funeral ceremony in his honour. The whole time, I had a medley of emotions ranging from grief to guilt over agreeing to have him anaesthetised. Would it had been better to let him live? If he was human, such a question would never arise in the first place.

But it’s not like we did things in vain, as it was based on the recommendation of the vet. Yet, would the dog be mad at us for making such a decision… assuming he was even in a form to be angry.

Well, my grief lead me to seek a pet psychic. I was hesitant at first, because I came from a Christian household where psychic readings were considered blasphemous and sinful. The pet psychic understood my concerns, even though she didn’t agree with them. She even said that some of the Bible’s greatest figures succeeded through their psychic abilities. It is only when people use their powers for evil that it becomes a problem.

Anyway, after a few sessions, I started seeing the dog in my dreams. He was running around in a flowery field, wagging his tail and playing with my father and grandmother… loved ones who had passed.

Eventually these dreams became more lucid, as I was able to interact in this field too. And forget floating on a cloud… this world was just as ‘physical’ as ours, even though it was much more ethereal.

I continue having these ‘astral projection’ dreams where I not only see my dog, but also human loved ones. As a result, I do not fear death in the way that I used to. Granted, I feel I have a lot more to do on earth before transferring over, but based on my visions, at least I know there is some type of existence to look forward to.
